Oh, you want informed opinions? There are a handful of those here but you might want to widen your net if that's what you're after.

Or a Wemby? Didn't happen. Why? No, Half of the 10-15 game improvement comes from getting rid of Champagnie...the worst starting player in the NBA. The other half comes from Knecht. And I look at him as a McDermott as well...with a lot more offensive driving ability.

Castle's strength is defense against those driving to the basket with Clingan waiting for the possible block. His weakness is closing out on three pointers. Castle's in game misses are bad. I might choose Castle if he is a point guard but I don't see it. Tristen Newton was clearly the point...

it's interesting to evaluate ups and downs and/or development of some prospects. for example Carrington. hie 3pt shooting is labeled as his main question mark. but he is one of these players, who improved significantly to the end of the season. in his last 10 games he shot over 40% on a good volume...

Pretty much but a much taller version of him. I won’t be asking him to initiate the offense. He just needs to hit open 3 and drive the hole and finish at a high clip. And unlike Wesley, Holland can dunk on people in the nba consistently

I've been watching videos on prospects for several months. I start back in November watching what I can find and pick it up in January and devote more time to it. I do read mocks and internet forum arguments, but I do so critically. I'm willing to listen to other views because I don't assume...

0% of us have watched all these prospects, and btw 95% of people who get paid to talk about his haven’t either. We all fall in love with our guys, but hopefully people come up with reasonable criteria for getting there (not simply “he throws a nice lob pass”). Here’s my process: - is there a...

Castle is last draft's Anthony Black. Spurstalk has a thing for guards that can't shoot, tbh.

For those of you with already established big boards/prospect rankings, I’m curious: how many of you have actually watched these prospects and seen them play as opposed to just reading mock drafts/internet forums?

Where did you get this from? Is there a quote, an article or anything that indicates that? Even if he did, it doesn't take away from the "impresiveness" of his numbers. I mean, even if he was super picky with his shot selection, he still shot fifty fucking two percent from the 3 pt line on good...

Castle shot better the ball in the second half of the regular season but he ended badly his season. He was 4/18 from 3 in the March Madness tournament and 0/4 in the Big East tournament just before.

one of the best points I read regarding what player type the Spurs will likely look for in this draft. and I would add this point: if you are a coach and you game plan for a game against the Spurs, what will your main strategy be? very likely it won't be to operate as much as possible within...

The most underrated aspect of Sheppard's game is his outlet passing. Just as sure a bet to translate to the NBA game as his three point shooting, and it would be a perfect fit with Wemby's maniac floor running as a bigman, tbh.

I can’t believe the Spurs would have Topic that low on their big board. Isn’t it more likely they’re deliberately hiding their interest in him?

This is surprising. EPM on the other hand showed Vassell quite favourably. O-EPM of 0.9 (82nd percentile) and D-EPM of 0.4 (72nd percentile). Overall he was the 94th in combined EPM in the league.

Agree also if with 4 i would prefer the best available of Castle, Risacher, Buzelis, Holland, Sheppard, Dilly, Topic...it all depends on how they are considered by our scouts and FO...(im not a Dilly fan just because he looks to me too small and skinny and not a defensive oriented guy). But Edey is...
