I look at it as a good thing that the mavs get a title now... soon luka will break down and kyrie will return to zombie land and their hunger for a title will be satiated and this is all good for wemby and the spurs to start winning titles... same thing as the nuggets...people were...

Yeah it’s way too early to criticize Black. He played well in limited minutes and generally spent the year learning and watching. If you talk to Orlando fans they are still very high on him and don’t in any way look at him as a bust. It was a developmental year in their eyes and they believe...

Damn, Wemby's first year highlights would make a fantastic career retrospective for most big men. Unreal. Gotta start building the OKC/DAL kryptonite team. Wolves may get worse this offseason. It's like Kareem/KD/Iceman/Bill Russell had a 7'4" kid. He may be passing like the elder Sabonis by...

Anthony Black has had one year in the league, and didn’t do too badly for trying to develop on a playoff team. He hasn’t turned out to be anything yet, because he’s 20 years old. He also shot 39% from 3 on about 3 attempts per game, covering 17 minutes.

At this point in their careers, these guys are just small cogs in a machine. If they're ok taking a smaller salary for nothing more than a one or two year contract, I'd be ok with any of them on the team - all except Lowry. I don't think he has anything left in the tank to help a team. Maybe as a...

I had hopes after Charlotte replaced that idiot Kai Jones with Mark Williams, and hit on Brandon Miller that we might get the pick, but injuries wrecked this last season, and anyone who can tank will tank this year. That one’s going to convey as 2 seconds. Hopefully, ATL will be as meh as I think...

Williams is also a high-character kid, which the Spurs obviously put a lot of stock into. Holland's character has reportedly been brought into question by scouts. That alone would give Williams the nod in any hypothetical scenario between the two imo.

DeRozan plays a brand of basketball that is not winning in today's NBA. But he lifts the floor of his team significantly, because of his efficient midrange shooting, decent playmaking and clutch performance. And while he is a net minus on defense, he has adjusted better in the PF role ..something...

Karl-Anthony Towns is shooting 4-of-32 from deep over his last five games, which marks the worst percentage (12.5) from deep over a five-game span in NBA playoffs history (minimum 30 attempts).

Salaun's defense is horrible apparently. Some NBA twitter guy posted a video discussing it. Aside from his rawness and low FG%, that's his big bugaboo apparently. He can't defend.

Kyrie normally has a calm year or two wherever he goes before his freaky brain shorts out and he moves on. I do agree they’re working together well at this time.

I had with our PG (and any player for that matter) who can’t shoot. Reed is a knockdown shooter and more. At worst he could our SG and he would be great at it. I’m not against drafting Castle and Reed if both available. This draft really defends who’s available. Risacher/Dilly,...

I would argue that in Luka's case, his offensive playmaking and ability to function as a hub his first two years would be significantly diminished if he was shooting 32% on 2 3's a game as opposed to 7-8 a game.
