We need a win here. I am looking for a game in the 60's. I think they keep it close and win by 6.

we seriously need to score in the 80's to have a shot...we go cold from 3pt range and we struggle, damn it...hopefully omar can come back from that concussion.

No doubt, that sounds like a peculiar injury to get during finals week......
But I would like to see a steady dose of inside out motion, pick and roll and our some nice lock down D.

UTSA grabs 2nd Road Win, downs UMKC 76-72 (added 12/22)
UTSA held UMKC to 12 of 29 shooting in the second half as UTSA picked up it's second road win of the season downing the Kangaroos 76-72. Guard Omar Johnson led the Runners with 17 points and 8 assists. Off the bench, Demarco Stepter had his best game of the season by far scoring 15 points and grabbing 11 big rebounds. Devin Gibson added 13, while Morris Smith scored 12.
After a LONG four game road trip, the Runners return to the Birdcage on Saturday. We'll be out there tailgating about 4pm watching some bowl games and talking any and all things UTSA. C'mon out!!!

Caught 2 mintues of this one, and UTSA was trailing by 2 with 7mins to go, BUT AWESOME THAT THEY GUTTED IT OUT! Yeah, I was wondering why Devin came off the bench again? Thx for the heads up DMX7.
HELL YEAH, THAT'S WHAT ARE MIDDLE LINEBACKER NEEDS TO DO! DOUBLE DOUBLE BABY!
So 4-4 record. Our biggest margin of defeat 19 @ OSU. In all seriousness, UTSA was in the lead late in every game except that one or at least led at the half (FREAKING NAVY TEAM THAT GOT HOT!!!!!!!). Could realistically be 6-2 or 7-1!
I can see beating Rice & losing to Navy or UTPA does seem inconsistent, BUT IN Brooks 2 first years the team only had 4 road wins and those were in conference. Haven't started conference yet and the team already has 2, MOST IMPORTANTLY, THEY'RE STARING TO GET EXPERIENCE IN HOW TO WIN TIGHT GAMES ON THE ROAD!!!!!!!!!!!!

OK, HERE'S TO BEATING THE DEAD HORSE!!!:bang:bang
As our best all around player, Travis cannot only shoot 9 times & finish 7 points.
I know he was in foul trouble, but he's hardly ever banging inside. That's not his game so how the hell does always seem to be racking up the fouls!!!!!!:bang:bang:bang

Our radio guy brought up the 3 letter word that i've been waiting for to describe Devin. "NBA".
I think he really is NBA material if he continues to improve.

i heard andy say that in the second half...crazy! man, i don't know. he's lightening fast but a little raw. you can't teach fast, however. he may have some nbdl days ahead of him before he's ready for the association.

Oh yes, raw but he still has two and a half years of college experience to gain.
