I like the school but I have to say that I think UTSA needs to start rejecting a few students to raise it's academic standing. The cynic in me suspects that they like the money that all those student's bring in. I realize UTSA serves a certain population and demographic but "Tier 1" status and open enrollment are mutually exclusive.

FWIW, I'm proud of the work I've done there and I know there are good profs, I'm a '98 alum and plan to finish my MS in spring.

My old university CU had lots even smaller, you had to park out in the community & catch the shuttles. Even UTEP for fucks sake! Some student park along the freaking border & catch their shuttle.

I parked in some of the most fucked up off limit, ticketed areas in my life at UT. I tore that shit up and threw it in the trash. I wasnt about to pay a damn thing with the whack ass parking there. On another note. I was at Utsa a few weeks back. People were at the back of the U, by the convo......driving around looking for an open spot close..........when there were TONS of spots further out in the parking area. Also, the parking garage near 1604 was 75% full?! I fail to see what is so bad about the parking myself. *shrugs*
