  1. Yeah they've still surpassed my expectations. They'll definitely beat Colorado so if they beat ASU they finish 7-5. If they win their bowl game it means Dick Rod accomplished in his 1st season what took Stoops 5 seasons to accomplish. Maybe my expectations were too low to begin with but 7-5 this year was a pipe dream imo with the talent he inherited. I can't complain.

My only complaint so far is that Dick Rod is about about as good at getting better than 3 star recruits as Stoops was.
  2. Arizona cannot win on the road... Ugly
  3. There's talk that Addidas has been funneling money to the family by drastically overpaying the older sister in her unknown professional tennis career. This in addition to openly having outside sources pay for visits, bills, and other things.
  4. Yeah I didn't know that the recruitment process with Bazz was that dirty, I thought it was more subtle

Hopefully at least Anderson stays eligible so the Pac-12 retains some respectability.
  5. NCAA did it with Enas Kantor at Kentucky. They are really cracking down... Not official yet, but he told me two years ago that Bazz had issues, so he's been all over it.
  6. Wow , I didn't see that coming at all. I figured they'd investigate and say they didn't find anything.
  7. My guy says he's heard no Shabazz all year. Anderson even a toss up...
  8. As far as Gottlieb, if Duke, UNC, Kentucky, Syracuse had three starter-caliber Seniors, another quality upperclassman (all who have Elite 8 experience), two rising sophomores, and a top-2 incoming freshman class that includes three top-10 big men would that level of expectations exist?

    Unequivocally, yes!

    Good to be back...
  9. York won't see more than a few minutes in the games he even plays, as Johnson will get most minutes at SG, Parrom several and Mayes a few. John has put on strength and been working on his perimeter shot. Remains to be seen how effective. Parrom is back to 100% according to reports, so he'll get 25+ per in backup of the wing spots.

    PG: Lyons (30), Mayes (10)
    SG: Johnson (25), Parrom (10), Mayes (5)
    SF: Hill (28), Parrom (12)
    PF: Ashley (25), Chol (10), Hill (5)
    C: Tarczewski (20), Jerrett (15), Chol (5)

That's what I see, though as players gel, I think 5 minutes from either Mayes (most likely) or Johnson goes to Parrom and 5 minutes from Chol or Jerrett goes to Ashley or Tarczewski. Hearing Ashley could lead lead the team in scoring... He and Lyons will carry that side of the ball in the halfcourt.
  10. Doug Gotlieb picking UA as his preseason favorite to win it all :

I've seen Solo walkin around campus and he looks like he's in way better shape than ever. He's completely toned now. Hopefully this means he's agile enough to play SF full time. What do you think the starting lineup is gonna be to open the season? I'm thinking:

    PG Lyons - Mayes
    SG Johnson - York
    SF Hill - Parrom
    PF Ashley - Chol
    C Jerrett - Tarc

It seems like Lyons, Hill, and Ashley are locks to start and will be the 3 top players this year. I haven't heard much on Nick Johnson and what we can expect from him this year, I just assume he has the starting job at 2 guard because of his defense and the lack of a better option. Who do you think starts at C? That seems like the huge mystery to me. I figure it's either Chol or Jerrett.
