Your friend pay up? AZ will only take a top-20 player now as their 3rd in 2013. Basically down to Gordon, Young and Frazier in that order of priority and likelihood. Else wise, they will hold the scholly for an ideal 2014 class of PG Parker Jackson-Cartwright, SFs Stanley Johnson and Winston Justise, and PF/C Peyton Dastrup. Three are top-25 and the other a top-50.
You're $20 richer...
Jefferson is committing Thursday with family, friends and coaches at his in-home. Gordon has always had Arizona in his top-2. Problem has been moving past Washington. But with the Huskies going 0-for on impact recruits thus far in the 2012 and 2013 classes plus losing Weoten early, Gordon realizes he doesn't want his one season to be for a middling team when it could be for a Final 4 contender in Arizona. PG: McConnell (rs-jr), Mayes (sr) SG: Johnson (jr), York (so), Pitts (fr), Mayes SF: Gordon (fr), Jefferson (fr) PF: Ashley (so), Jerrett (so), Gordon C: Tarczewski (so), Chol (jr), Korcheck (rs-jr) Supposedly Gordon likes this and I'd say it's now a 50/50 chance.
I made a $20 bet that Jefferson commits by the end of the week so I hope you're right What do you think their chances are with Gordon?
Rondae Jefferson left without a public commit, but my guy says it's coming at his in-home this week. Hearing Miller will also have an in-home with 2013 CF Aaron Gordon and possibly 2014 PG Parker Jackson-Cartwright. All three are 5-star prospects, Gordon a top-3 overall. AZ might be backing off Frazier. I'm hearing he's turning his recruitment into an auction with Europe a possibility.
Also, I am hearing that the only reason Ashley doesn't put up numbers similar to Williams his freshman season is because he won't have to. He is 15 pounds stronger and is driven. These are scary facts for opposing PFs.
5-Star, top-10 overall prospect for 2013, SF Rondae Jefferson, a few weeks after unofficially visiting UA, is now officially visiting UA and will host Miller and staff for an in-home next week. All good things. I'd bee looking out for a commit. Those I know say they'd be shocked if it doesn't happen, despite Jefferson's strong and long-held desire to announce on his birthday in January.
They are going to be massacred by OK State.
If Dick Rod goes .500 with this team it'll be a spectacular coaching job. I think they'll be lucky to duplicate last year's record.
Oregon is gonna hang 60 on 'em. I think they'll be .500, but this team is not deep, and it's best players are mostly career backups.
