This football team could end up being historically bad
No commit, but he's told his handlers Arizona is tops and he's reportedly opted to move up his commit date to early signing period from January, so all good news.
6-7, 5-star 2013 SF Rondae Jefferson is visiting UA the next few days, and word is a commit could follow... Not a guarantee, but things are lining up.
E. Pitts to Arizona. 6-5, 200 SG is arguably the best pure shooter in the class. For a while it was all he could do but this past year he improved his handle and passing, showing off his very good court vision while running PG on his AAU team this summer. 4-star guard right now, but still rising. Solid 4-year player who bought 100% in to Miller's system in a very brief recruitment. Was likely either UCLA or Georgetown if not Arizona, so he's a really good get.
Hearing good things about a class of five-star wings of Frazier and Rondae Jefferson. Overall, assuming Wiggons reclassifies, there's a good chance Arizona ends up with two of Frazier, Jefferson, James Young. Lastly, Gordon names Wasington as his favorite, but it's a slim lead, and Arizona having success and a successful visit will make things very interesting. Likely a three member class.
I was taken aback that "old school" Nash ultimatumed the Suns into trading him to the Lakers. But I am thrilled with the return, and I like the medium risk/high reward signings. They have a ways to go before we know just how well the offseason went. I was pissed at the Marshall pick, and I will be furious if they don't amnesty Childress, but what has happened in the last 40 hours is actually smart, calculated basketball signings that have good upside to each move.
Do you understand all the outrage over the Suns' off season? It was way better than anyone coulda hoped imo.
You may have seen... Eric Cooper, Jr. is graduating in 2013, then spending a year at a prep school, likely Brewster, reclassifying to 2014. This frees up a 2013 scholarship, but many think Miller pockets it for 2014 where Arizona is arguably doing much better with the top talent than 2013, that is, unless, Arizona can land a certain one n done like Aaron Gordon or Jabari Bird. As of now Arizona is looking at a three-man 2013 class... In the most-likely pool, the SGs are Frazier, Pitts, Hopkins, the SFs are Jefferson, Allen, the PFs are Gordon, Bridgewater, the Cs are Lee and Rooks. I don't think Arizona needs a big in 2014 unless it's a Gordon-type, so my favored class is Frazier, Jefferson and either Pitts (good shooter) or Allen (great athlete/defender). With Cooper reclassifying, the word "if" has surfaces as to whether or not he'll end up a Wildcat. Arizona will probably fulfill the promise, but Cooper, Jr. may prioritize playing time and opt to go elsewhere on his own.
Also, my guy is saying Lyons to Arizona, no doubt. Had others say similar.
I now have multiple sources telling me that Josiah was heavily influenced to do something he shouldn't have. Looks legit. Shame.
