Don't act like the spurs had to overcome huge obstacles because that's not the case. Spurs simply fulfilled the duties of a healthy regular season conference champion.

But if Memphis stays healthy, shit's about to get real for the spurs and you know it. The WCF was a lock for the spurs given the circumstances.

It would be a colossal feat for them to beat flop city, followed by meth city and the TOSB crew on the way to their first Finals appearance.
Unless someone gets injured, the Grizzlies will always have the frontcourt advantage over any of those teams. They've already proved they can beat the clippers and spurs and Westbrook's injury might be the thing that gives them that extra edge over the Thunder. We'll see.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – When Indiana Pacers guard George Hill knocked down four big free throws in the final 50 seconds of the Pacers’ Eastern Conference-evening Game 2 win Friday night, one of George’s biggest fans was glued to a TV set some 1,000 miles away.
“I watched the whole game,” San Antonio Spurs point guard and Hill’s former teammate Tony Parker said following Saturday morning’s shootaround in preparation for tonight’s Game 3 of the Western Conference finals (9 p.m. ET, ESPN). “We’ve been texting the whole playoffs. I always follow George. He’s like my little brother, so I always text him.”

Parkers Kobme act is gagging. Happens too many possessions. Yes he needs the ball to get his rhythm going. Fine. But not ad nauseum and play like an intelligent point guard when you are not hitting. When he distributes as well as scores, we become 100 times better.
Ditto GNob. Yes i know sometimes his horks are just who he is and what he does. But he is reverting to Hero Ball to often. Stop that shit. Now. Wayy better when you are team ballin. Same with his defense. After his ill advised 3 point hork with a ton on the shot clock and 19 or so on the game clock, GNob compounded the problem by going for a Hero Ball steal vs Tony Allen. Easy foul call. We're damn lucky Allen choked his 1st ft to keep it at 86-86.

The conference finals this year is a perfect example of series' favorites just going out and taking care of business, with no big deal in either series. No shockers. No storylines. No surprises. The Spurs are the favorites against the Grizzlies and the better team and have shown that this series as they prepare to sweep the conference finals 4-0. The Pacers are the favorites against the Heat and, had they not given away to Lebron the win in Game 1, the Pacers would be up 2-0.

There's no trash talking in this thread. Nothing personal against the Grizzlies or the Heat. They're just not that good. Neither team have any All-Stars. Both teams are overrated, overhyped, and have a very limited game. The Heat rely on Lebron James making jump shots, but have no other players to go to when Lebron is shooting bricks. The Grizzlies just have no one to go to period. People act like Zach Randolph and Marc Gasol are so good, but they haven't done anything this postseason. The Spurs are just doing what they're supposed to do. The Spurs are no longer the Big Three but now have five All-Star caliber players in Duncan, Parker, Ginobili, Leonard, and Green. Any one of these five players is better than Memphis' top player.

The Spurs are clearly the favorites to win the championship. If they face Indiana, it'll be a more difficult series than Miami. Danny Green is a better player than Lebron, Wade, and Bosh.

Again, no trash talking, no big surprises, nothing personal. The Spurs are just going out, doing what they're supposed to do, and beating a team they're supposed to beat.
