Lol this half court offense is ridiculousy bad
Sure enough, even during a good season, the futility strikes on the biggest stage. tbh I saw this upset coming a mile away after I saw how the Big XII has struggled as the three seed in recent years. Perfect storm for a program that isn't used to this position
Lol this half court offense is ridiculousy bad
Rofl my first ever reverse jinx
the bas voters better put Evans ahead of young
Just made the Sweet 16 in spite of the refs' love affair with Florida. Not bad for the Texas Tech Browns, tbh.
I'm not one to complain about refs, but there were three that I remember were so bad that even the announcers were laughing at them. There was the uncalled goaltend, the guy who pulled the 'Ronaldo' flop falling down grabbing his face despite the fact that there was no real foul committed (and the refs reviewed to see if it was a flagrant rofl), and then another phantom foul where the guy just had the chair pulled out from under him. Still, Florida always seems to make runs once they get to the Tournament so beating them was an impressive step for the program.
Either way, I figured this was about as far as they could go this season, so they're really playing with house money from here on out. Also, they were lucky to get two home games essentially. In Boston, they're only going to play better teams who are all located in the Northeast, so the script will flip on them.
remember when zhaire chose tech over texas Blake
Lol honestly no. But lol.
Can't see Tech getting past Purdue but who knows. Either way, the season grade is A+, show Chris Beard the blank check.
Good run for Tech, but the refs stepped in to make sure the bigger program won.
After that game, both teams should just be sent home with the winner of Kansas and Duke automatically advancing to the championship.
Villanova was bricking wide open three after wide open three, and Texas Tech went from taking horrible shots in the first half to missing layups in the second. Like I said, neither team deserved to play like that and advance.
Rough way to go out, but it was a fun run. Felt like Evans wasn't fully healthy and couldn't carry the team this time.
Gonna be fun to see how these guys do next year.
He had a broken toe so no, he was far from healthy
