KaPussy should be on every Spurs fan's list tbh.
This is 100% holistic... not based on stats at all per se, just based on how you value them to the franchise and to your heart...
1) Tim
2) Manu
3) Robinson
4) Bowen
5) Elliott
6) Parker
7) B. Barry
8) S. Jackson
...
76) A. Johnson -- the Dallas coaching stint rubbed me the wrong way
225) S Kerr -- the GSW coaching stint has REALLY turned me off
...
880) R. Jefferson
881) R. Strickland
882) K. Leonard
883) N. Van Exel
KaPussy should be on every Spurs fan's list tbh.
3rd to Last: Richard Jefferson
2nd to Last: Matt Bonner
Last (Worst Spur of All Time): Kawhi Leonard
My UNT going HAM on that autistic coward who we thought he could be our franchise player ..
I have Cherokee Parks and Amal McKaskill ranked over him tbh
Nothing Kiwi could do to get into the Top 3 Spurs list of all-time after the travesty he pulled this season..
Not that he is wearing that jersey again ..
That's fair tbh. Ayres is 4th to last, Cadillac Anderson is 5th to last, Jack Haley is 6th to last, Rodman is 7th to last and Gary Neal is 8th to last tbh.
Should've saved this thread for the offseason, tbh.
I actually liked Bonbon. Yes he was overplayed and a Danny Ferry clone, but often out of necessity because we had no other big man who could shoot after Horry left.
I would put Kawhi somewhere between Jimmer and de Colo
Nick Van Exel incited David Robinson and criticized him in 2002 for standing up for America and the US flag. Surprised the Spurs even took him in FA after that
NVE was an early Kaepernick, maybe not as bad as Kaep and definitely not as bad as the terrorist supporting Mahmoud Abdur Rauf (Chris Jackson) in the 90s
Neal couldn't guard a guy without shoes tbh.
Neal was a niche player. He was bad on defense and terrible against backcourt pressure, but he was good at taking charges and could create his own shot
It's been a long time, but still Alfrederick Hughes.
This could go on a while but here’s my top 10 that I’ve seen:
1. Timmy
2. D Rob
3. Manu
4. Kawhi
5. Tony
6. LMA
7. Sean
8. Terry mings
9. Dennis Rodman
10. Bruce Bowen
Honorable mentions: Willie Anderson (he looked like he was going to be awesome, did he get injured), Rod Strickland, Horry, S Jax, Marco, AJ
1. Duncan
2. Robinson
3. Ginobili
4. Parker
5. Leonard
6. Bowen
7. Sean ******
8. Horry
9. Avery Johnson
10. Terry mings
Rodman wasn't with the Spurs that long and bailed on them in the playoffs.
As a fan and teenager, watching Rodman in person was fun as . Also, I may be in the minority, but he was the perfect player to compliment Robinson during his MVP year. The Spurs knew the character they were getting when he came to SA. Even though it was annoying as when he gave up.
Regardless of what happened this season and what goes down in the future, Kawhi brought us a fifth championship for Duncan. For that I will be forever grateful.
What an arbitrary concept for a list..."how it feels in your heart"
Funny thread had a few giggles. Worth it. Recommend it
edit:the worst ranks are worth reading it.
Nope.
5 was a total team win. Manu and TD were more important up until the final game... Kawhi was mediocre at best in the OKC series, for example
Tim will always be first and Manu second.
Spurs don't even get near 5 without Kawhi. You're an idiot.
