I have a beard, been about 5 years and growing out my hair currently. I live in the bay no one gives a here. I do it out of as an obligation for manliness. Watching like Vikings, 300, Sebastian Chabal among other types of validated this in my head.
I do however have a disdain for hipsters. Which are not manly and most SJW types.
