hes content with his money
golden state doesnt care about him either since they have rush/barnes ahead of him in the rotation
RJ has it made
got traded to his favorite city in the world and gets 10 mil to sit on the bench
^If Rush is still ahead of RJ in the rotation, RJ is even worse than I thought.
some people were still defending him when he was still a Spur
I fully expect a similar Bonner 2014-2015 BOBCATS STATS THREAD, tbh
i still remember how excited everybody was here when he was first traded for...
Surprised he can sit.
ing hall of famer compared to how he's playing with GS.
Is that when we'll finally be able to get rid of him? Dang....
Speaking of former Spurs, how bout George Hill dropping 29 against the T'Wolves last night?! He had a sick crossover tagged with a pull-up 3 to tie the game at 94 all.
I feel bad for the Warriors, tbh
They booed Jack. I don't.
When I saw RJ on the bench in the season opener I thought "wow, that's how badly they wanted SJax out of town".
Is it possible that the Spurs' system actually made RJ look better than he was? Conventional wisdom always said Pop's offense was not suited to his running and slashing style, but his numbers this season don't support that view.
RJ is a neurotic POS. He's gonna be terrible anywhere he plays because his mind is as ed as his ass is.
have to give some credit to RJ though
popovich did try to turn him into bowen 2.0
and jefferson at least made himself probably the best corner 3 point shooter in the nba while he was with SA
he was also a professional and even helped tutor kawhi during the lockout
if he just played like we thought he could we might have a 5th ring
RJ worked his ass off and was a much better player. Still not worth his contract, but he really did make an effort to improve and contributed to some wins. He also made himself attractive enough to bring Jack to town. Spurs fans really should be thankful that he was able to do that.
