Now with her possibly being investigated for criminal offenses due to her email fiasco and losing major ground to the GOP candidates. Her trustworthiness is at an all time low and demeanor is lackluster at best. Obama showed her weakness in public appearances and lack of answering questions is making her look more and like a weak candidate against any GOP force. Time for Joe Biden to get in the race. He's very popular and has been a strong VP. Bernie simply doesn't have that presidential look that is necessary in today's world.

The more people see and hear from HRC, the less they like her. Similar dynamic as 2008.
She's still the safest choice for the Democrats, and it puts the GOP in an attack position in the election... they'll be talking more about her than their own candidate, which never works (see 1996, 2004, 2012).
Yes, that is why Obama took her out so easily. He was much more likable and fair or not, Americans need to like their president. I feel America likes Joe Biden much more than Hillary and so do I.

I'll admit, there's something about Hillary that when she speaks, it just grates on me like nails on a chalkboard.
But nobody can deny just how incredibly impressive her resume is
She has a resume full of prestigious positions and les; however, I'm not all that impressed with her decision-making, accomplishments and leadership. She is certainly better than what is on the right at the moment though.
I think the media landscape has changed significantly enough in the last 20 years to prevent this from happening. In 1992 people still got most of their news from the major networks, and those networks gave Perot a pretty fair platform with the other two candidates.
Political strategy wasn't a 24-hour conversation then. We didn't have FOX News, Drudge, etc. at that time. You can bet those guys will be on full blast discouraging conservatives from voting for Trump at the risk of helping the Democrats.

Some substantive (e.g., "yes" vote on the Iraq war)... and some more stylistic (e.g., not putting down this e-mail "scandal", "misspeaking" about the Bosnia sniper fire, giving the impression she is in the pocket of the banks by putting down the idea of reinstating Glass-Steagall, etc.)
