I am so angry right now. Moonlight people should have had more time to talk about LGBT rights and stick it in Trump's face with their win. Instead, the whole thing was stolen by the mixup. Avante that surprises me. The intricacy of creating a motion picture sound track. The music score, Foley, sound editing, sound mixing. Sound editors worked for a year to put together Glory & Top Gun. Back in the day before digital help the sound mixers used the Fox scoring stage to pipe George C Scott’s dialogue in & out of the stage & used microphone placement to make Patton sound like a big loud S.O.B. This stuff is right up your alley… This year’s sound mixing award went to Kevin O’Connell. A 39 year old veteran of recording with 21 Oscar nominations…
I own a number of movie soundtracks. I just see too many politics involvrd with anything having to do with Hollywood. So to watch all that unfold, nay~~~

If only I had known that Moonlight was a movie about black s. I seriously would've been scouring the web for online sportsbooks taking bets on best picture winner. After feeling guilty about having the race card played on them last year with all the #Oscarssowhite crying and controversy, the film academy was going to throw the blacks a bone this year. That much was a lock. But with the LGBT angle added in on top of an all black cast, Moonlight getting the nod from the film academy had to be the lock of the ing century.
