Norv is one of the most overrated coaches of all time, in any sport. It's amazing how he gets a free pass for how he almost ruined Rivers' career.
To put things in perspective: the Comeback Player of the Year award usually goes to a player who came back from a serious injury. When Rivers won it a few years ago, it was because he came back from Norv's atrocious system and playcalling. And somehow he still gets coaching jobs in the NFL
Terrible hire for the Panthers. Aikman, Irvin, Smith, and the whole Cowboys' O-line from the '90s should all get paid a commission every time a team hires Norv.
Norv needs an elite quarterback. Terrible hire.
