...Was by far their most impressive win of the season when they demolished the Denver Nuggets at home back on January 12.
Was also Kawhi's last game playing since.
Rudy Gay out too.
The only game with our entire roster was against the Nets in December.
He played but Rudy Gay was injured... frankly with a healthy Kawhi... Gay seems unnecessary. Edit: but I think the playoffs is where he'd matter most...

Can't wait for Rudy Gay to opt out of his contract at seasons end so he can extort more money from RC Cokehead. That seems to be the thing to do these days.
Having Kawhi/Gay in there + Aldridge makes us very tough to defend. You can never have too many guys who can score the ball with the size and versatility those guys have. Gay can be super impactful if we can ever get the full squad back
Yea I thought so. Dam shame lol
I was looking forward to seeing how KL, LMA and Gay fared together...put a couple of three point shooters out there with them and they would have been hard to beat.
Stephen Kawhahkins was barely moving that game
And he still went 19-8-4-4. Sad.................
Damn tragedy tbqh
But not as bad a tragedy as givingbFatty s 50 million
You're always crying like a wit.
Probably the worst on this forum
That was the beauty of the plan though. You take Kawhi out, and in comes Rudy ing Gay? That's like a never-ending onslaught from the SF position.
And putting them together in a small ball lineup? Could have been the Spurs "Death Lineup".
Sadly, we may never get to see it in action.
The only silver lining to Rudy's injury is that he may actually pick up his option for next year. Considering the time he has missed, that is going to make a lot of teams hesitant to throw big bucks at him after the Achilles injury, and it's already looking like it is going to be a drier market than people were expecting.
He's also hinted that he wants to stay with the Spurs long term, so it makes sense for him to take the 8M he is owed, and hopefully we will get a chance to see what this duo was really supposed to look like.
Thanks, mate!
That’s what I want to see...the team actually play. Mayb3 we will all be shocked and see it happen here soon!
