It would be nice to see the GOP try to primary a Republican in bent with a more moderate candidate for once, but seems like that ship has sailed.
Dude drank his own Koolaid, and thought he had a shot at winning outside of his old district in a statewide office.
When you are too stupid and brainwashed for even the modern fascist party...wow.

After election loss, Gohmert won't endorse another candidate
https://www.news-journal.com/news/lo...1bf48ff03.htmlOn Wednesday, U.S. Rep. Louie Gohmert was uncertain about what’s next for him except that he knows he has a job to finish and said he remains committed to a few principles that were important to him when he signed up to run for Texas attorney general.

Those principles were:
Dishonesty, violence, and greed

Yeah. This round sucked. I didn't like any of them.
To be fair, primarying from the center is mission impossible with respect to both parties. Outside of scenarios where Feenstra primaries Steve King because King is a literal white nationalist, the messaging of "We need to be more like the other party" never resonates well with primary voters.
I'd settle for "We need to be less bat insane" and I think a lot of voters would go for that, unfortunately it's a difficult message to articulate when you'd basically be throwing your party under the bus.
Like, there's plenty to go after Paxton on while still maintaining core Republican principles, but basically the only message coming from his primary opponents was "He didn't do enough to help Trump overturn the election."
It isn't going to get better. You have my sympathies. (honest)
lol fascist party as the regressives continue to stifle speech, anything against their narrative, jail those not charged with anything, etc...
