That sucks, Ive seen him at several bars around town.
KSAT had a teaser for their noon news. Showed him in court with handcuffs.
Public Intoxication was mentioned. I couldn't find anything online yet.

He's the KENS5 sportscaster. Whenever the Spurs play on that channel, he's working them.
Butta, that may explain the charge!
They didnt wack him a few times with their batons?
needless to say he is in the middle.
nah, he is white.
he'll get off the charges then
Was it an environmental ordinance violation for too much hairspray?
His does have the ol' helmet head look!
That's makes two sportscasters I've worked with who have fallen afoul of the law at some point.
Hopefully Joe's wife gets some help with her apparent drinking problem.
And what were Joe's counts, drinking or resisting?
I don't know if he has a drinking problem. If the WOAI radio story is accurate, it just looks like he was pissed off at how the police were handling his wife.
Yeah, I edited after I re-read...I've been looking at so much damn copy the last four days, things are running together.
I don't know. That WOAI story makes it seem like Joe was charged with public intoxication and resisting arrest. WOAI TV is fact checking right now but they should have a story up soon. (That story that was posted is WOAI Radio).
I wish the pigs would just chill out and let us drink in peace
Getting in trouble for public intoxication is dumb.
Well I don't know the exact cir stances. But if you were sitting at your house and had a couple beers, then your wife was arrested, having a panic attack and at the hospital, you came there and you were pissed off at how the police were handling her, then I'd imagine getting in trouble for public intoxication would be easy.
Very easy. Most PI's that police encounter we try and find someone who we can release them to. But if the person is being a butthead (for lack of a better word)- we will take them downtown and book them.
Wow. I wonder what KENS is going to say.
Public intoxication and resiting arrest while he was with his wife. (fixed it if anyone read it)
He was just released a few hours ago.
With a DWI.
Court date set for late march.
He got a DWI? I thought his wife was driving.
So essentially, don't be a to cops.
My guess if they would have figured he drove there (I'm just talking out of my ass, though, Z can probably give the scoop).
