Just thought I would post some good MMA content not just found online.

www.realfightermag.com - magazine. I paid $15 for a year subscription, every other month.

www.tapout.com - magazine. I paid $65 for two years, got a free shirt, every other month.

    http://www.amazon.com/Little-Evil-Ul.../dp/1550225677

Written by Jens Pulver. Best sports book I have ever read. Amazing life, its not just about MMA.

    http://www.amazon.com/Fighters-Heart...753921-8220158

Written by Sam Sheridan. Good read. But I feel like he is a bit of a poser.

    http://www.amazon.com/Mixed-Martial-...753921-8220158

Written by BJ Penn. Great book if you want to learn more about MMA. Its basically an instruction manual and I got it to understand the ground game better.

    http://www.amazon.com/Mastering-Rubb...753921-8220158

Written by Eddie Bravo (the guy who scores main events at the UFC) Again I bought to understand the ground game better. Good but BJ's is better.

I saw him on FOXnews when I was in line at the cafe at my job and ordered it when I got back to my desk. Very good book. He would do well to write some more MMA books about other people.

Can't wait until Randy writes one.

Err... Quadros is a good commentator, always very knowledgable (sp?), but on the radio he comes across as rather dry. Not sure how long he could hold an audience.

Imagine if he pairs up with Sherwood!

Speaking of commentators...Frank Mir deserves a standing ovation! Simply amazing job he did at WEC. He has done a few events before but that was his best. I suspect in his recent substantial off time he has been working with someone for his next career as a commentator.

Which sadly may be sooner than later. I am not so sure he has another 3 fights in him. Considering he used to hold a belt the UFC will give him every shot within reason to make it back but eventually they will have to cut ties with him, fighting wise.

Sure don't but I want to. I have a pretty stacked slate in and out of work.

But I would love to train for one mma fight. Just to have one the ledger to say I did it. Just a little goal, nothing serious. Some guys join gyms to play bastekball, some join beer leagues for softball and baseball...why not some spare guy for mma just for fun?

Only draw back is the price. Few hundred a month in some cases just for the basics.

Yeah I have a friend here in Austin that trains with Gracie-Ybarra and wants me to go learn with him. Yeah the cost is a lot but I would like to learn, not to fight but so I would at least know how. Have you ever seen a MMA guy fight a street fight. I would like to see how 1 sided it would be.

My bad...its 1530. He used to be here in Dallas. He and I have had an ongoing MMA email conversation on and off for about 4 years. He goes to almost every single UFC event in vegas.

Kevin Scott is awesome. I miss his show in Dallas.

Man no kidding. I was always hoping he was going to take over 10 to 12.

I haven't emailed KScott in a long time. I need to do that this weekend.

Hey can I get added to that list? admin @ mmahaven.com
