Whos it going to be?
The biggest draft bust IMO will be Thabeet. The guy has the tools, but in the NBA he will be dominated.
Whos your pick?
Not Thabeet. Even though he's not that impressive yet, I feel he'll still be a decent bench player at worst. It's not every day you see relatively agile 7'3" big men.
The bust of the draft will be someone who drops completely off the NBA radar.
Thabeet is an easy pick because expectations are high for him, but I could even see Curry making less of an impact a year from now.
Idk if you can consider them busts, when you look at the quality of the draft.
I think this is pretty right...
Thabeet will block shots and take up space and thus will be in the league for a pretty long time. Stephen Curry probably won't be efficient enough to build an offense around, but won't produce otherwise. He'll be a mess on defense, too.
The rest of the draft is fairly mediocre otherwise. Flynn, Jordan Hill, Evans, Holliday... does anyone expect s om from any of them? Hill might be lousy, however...
I 2nd this.
Rubio is a legend in his own mind.
Rubio and Thabeet
Blake, Blair, and Sam Young will go 123 in ROY.
Thabeet, bust at 2. You don't draft a mediocre starter or eventual backup at 2. You take chances and try for franchise players, even if the draft was crap (beside from PG) like this year.
Psycho T, bust at 13. No basketball skills; I am witness as a Duke fan.
Thabeet looked pretty good to me. He's big, he's mobile, he's got good hands, he can defend and he's young. Must be the "Mahinmi sucks" crowd that thinks a 7'3" guy is washed up at 21.
For this year? Rubio.
You're right he did'nt block alot of shots, but he did alter alot of them.
jordan hill, johnny flynn
Or ironically, the "Mihinmi rules" crowd.
Don't get ahead of yourself. He was the Summer League MVP.
Jordan Hill, he looks waay too skinny to play C let alone PF.
Brandon Jennings. I don't have any reasons, I just don't like the guy lol.
Curry as a legitimate pick for bust though
