Kenny Hasbrouck to the camp with Heat
Kenny Hasbrouck, former Siena star before joining the D-League last season, will sign a contract today that will put him on the Miami Heat's training camp roster according to Fox 23 News in Albany, NY. The deal, which could pay Kenny upwards of $200,000, is not guaranteed until December 1st. "I'm grateful for it to finally happen, to finally put my name on the paper where I know I'm going to be secure for at least a couple months. So, it's good," Hasbrouck told FOX23 during his visit back to Siena College Tuesday. Hasbrouck was Miami's leading scorer in the Vegas Summer League averaging 13.6 PPG to go with 2.4 RPG and 2.4 APG in 5 games. http://www.sportando.net/eng/usa/nba...with_heat.html Maccabi Tel Aviv made an offer for Kyle Weaver OKC to waive G-F Kyle Weaver before Aug. 1 to keep from guaranteeing contract for next season, source tells Y! Wilkins, Wafer, Anderson Work Out For Cavs
The Cavaliers held a workout on Tuesday that included free-agents Damien Wilkins, Von Wafer and Alan Anderson. "It went well," Wilkins told FanHouse. "They're a very good organization. They've got a great team even though they lost LeBron (James, an Akron native). I still think they can compete. They've got a really good coaching staff... I hope it works out (with the Cavaliers). I think I showed them I wasn't too proud to come in for a workout on short notice (from his home in the Atlanta area)." According to sources, the Cavaliers are also looking at Joey Graham as they search for help on the wing. Read more: http://realgm.com/src_wiretap_archiv...#ixzz0uzKUFvMB |

Bulls Open To Dealing James Johnson
The Bulls have been offering forward James Johnson in trades all offseason, according to the Chicago Tribune. Johnson was the team's first-round pick in 2009. Chicago is rumored to have interest in trading for Portland guard Rudy Fernandez, but the Blazers have shown little interest in Johnson. Los Angeles Clippers re-sign Rasual Butler
Butlern established a new Clippers’ franchise record for most three-pointers made in a season, surpassing Terry Dehere when he knocked down his 140th three-pointer of the 2009-10 campaign The Los Angeles Clippers today re-signed free agent forward Rasual Butler. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not announced. Butler, who averaged a career-high 11.9 points to go with 2.9 rebounds and 33.0 minutes in 82 games played with Los Angeles last season, also connected on 41 percent of his field goals on the year. He was originally acquired by the Clippers along with cash considerations from the New Orleans Hornets on August 12, 2009 in exchange for a conditional second round draft pick in 2016. On April 4, 2010 against the New York Knicks, the eight-year NBA veteran established a new Clippers’ franchise record for most three-pointers made in a season, surpassing Terry Dehere (1995-96) when he knocked down his 140th three-pointer of the 2009-10 campaign. In addition to his career mark in scoring, Butler finished the season with career-highs in three-pointers made (145) as well as attempted (432 – also a Clippers’ franchise record). Butler was originally drafted by the Miami Heat in the second round (53rd overall) of the 2002 NBA Draft. Over his career, he has tallied 8.8 points and 2.7 rebounds while connecting on 40 percent of his field goals and 36 percent of his three-point attempts. http://www.sportando.net/eng/usa/nba...al_butler.html |

1 year ,4 million for Jho from what I heard. Hope he gets back to what he used to be. He has alot of potential.
I guess he realized his stock was low from all the offcourt/injury issues so he is going to use this 1 year to see if he can get a payday next summer _____________________________ ![]() ![]()

Pacers Shopping Dunleavy, Ford
The Pacers are attempting to trade T.J. Ford and Mike Dunleavy, according to sources. Ford has been on the market for several months, but the news of an attempt to trade Dunleavy is surprising as Jim O'Brien is known to be high on him. Butler signed for 1 year. If we'd thrown 7.5/3 at him he would've jumped at it, surely, and we'd not be wasting 40mil on a guy who doesn't fit our team and who we now have to play for 3 years as he declines.
FO fucked this one up grandly. ![]() _____________________________ All wise men fear the GRIZZLY BLAIR!

I would trade parker and Blair for the two plus their 1st pick this year. gives us atheticim and shooting at the SF . (George and Dunleavy) plus a PG back-up (Ford) to Hil. Gives them the Point guard they need , the PF they need to support Granger ( they don't need SF's)

James Jhonson looks to be very available...if Bulls just want to drop him, could be a good bet to trade them Jerrels and one of Hairston/Gee contracts (depending if we already have an idea about who we prefer of the two). Contracts matches...and Bulls can always decide to waiwe both of them.

He'd be an interesting fit as a 6th big and another option at SF if we want to go big (perish the thought! ). |

Someone smart will get TJ Ford at a cheap price. That dude is a starter in this league, he gets benched because Indiana is a shady place to play.
