Yeah just wondering something, How many of you guys and I mean real guys..not trolls will admit you have cried watching a movie. Nothing stupid like j.lo in Gigli cause the movie was bad. But you cried cause you were touched by the story.

Any guy here want to admit... if so what movie ?
I've cried at City of Angels (when she's hit by the truck), Saving Private Ryan (tell me I'm a good man), and the heart-attack episode of Roseanne. Dan Connor had been through so much as the bread-winner of Roseanne's family and when he talks to his daughter, who is about to be married, and says that she should change whatever she wanted to change (from her upbringing) it is emotional and culminates the loss of the bike shop and the things Dan Connor couldn't do for his family. It brought me to tears when I saw it for the first time as an adult.

LHB tribute to the victims of the Aggie Bonfire collapse in 1999--poor video quality, but I don't think it's necessary to convey the emotion of that afternoon. One of only a couple times the Longhorn Band removed their hats in respect, I believe--their highest honor as a band.

One of the few halftimes Aggies everywhere will readily admit we "lost"--but I think Texans everywhere came up winners that day.

Hachi-did pull on those heartstrings pretty in' hard, didn't it?
    Hachi...what an actor!

There are quite a few...but this one here got me pretty bad...

Shadowlands...with Anthony Hopkins and Debra Winger...

The background to this scene is that this kid's mom (D.Winger) has just lost the fight with cancer...

Hopkins played the part of C.S. Lewis-the great writer who pretty much thought he was above all sentimentality...as he was a man of great, great intelligence and his writings always sort of- minimized suffering, pain, etc...(or at least explained suffering in theory)

Also his writings on spirituality and god always seemed to be full of true insights and understanding of the human condition.
Until he fell in love with D. Winger and all of a sudden...he wanted something pretty badly-other than a great career, education, fame,etc...

Hopkins had also lost his mother at a very young age...and in this scene, after being very strong and composed throughout the movie, he has to comfort the young boy who has just lost his mother....

I defy anyone to not be affected....

Your posts for their innate ability to not inspire laughter and said emotions that accompany funny.

    On a serious note...

Pay It Forward was one of the few that made me tear up. I would also have to say one from my earliest childhood memories was Empire of the Sun when they killed his friend. Land Before Time is another one that I can remember off the top of my head.

Never seen that movie but many of my friends say it's the saddest movie they've ever seen.

And I'm always that bag in the theatre that finds a way to laugh and make fun of every scene no matter how sad it is.

Kind of want to watch this movie to see if it can get even the most heartless like me to choke up a little

    Something has to give, imho
