The sky is blue.
So the Spurs beat the living crap out of everyone and win the west and today there is barely a mention on ESPN, SI or FoxSports, just the normal/average AP article. If this was the Lakers/Heat/Bulls/Knicks there would be all over the internets. I hope we win the championship just to piss everyone else off.
Spurs won the West last year. There is no news in that storyline.
Spurs are boring, just ask Wale.
Wale can just cry himself to sleep when the Spurs win it all. he's a .
I don't think he has even seen a Spurs game this season and I question if he has even watched an NBA game this season.
I was wondering if he knew exactly who the Spurs were to be honest.
I'll call ESPN and file a formal complaint. It's almost like they are about entertainment instead of sports reporting.
If you haven't learned that Spurs information isn't going to make it to ESPN, you've not been around long. In championship years, we barely got mentioned.
Small markets, that's how they go.
Who's Wale? Oh, you mean Shirley Temple. lol cute
If the national media covered the Spurs in depth like they should then I wouldn't have to come to Spurstalk to get the coverage I need. So thanks to ESPN's failure to do it's job right you guys get to have me around. I think myself a humble man but I don't think there's anything wrong with saying that I'm a pretty nifty consolation prize there.
Power ranking article.
"...The Spurs just keep rolling along, dominating the compe ion and proving Gregg Popovich could coach three camels and a penguin to .500."

I see the small-market inferiority complex is still prevalent in some of you.
The best part of the nationally televised Spurs games on ESPN is when the announcers sound genuinely surprised by the routine things we have been doing all year.
"Wow, they really share the ball well... they get a lot of wide open shots... that rookie Leonard has a little bit of potential"
It just shows that they had not seen a Spurs game all season, they may know our box scores but that doesn't show our style.
And for the record First Take has had guests that are musicians who really know their ... and then there is Wale. I think his sports knowledge comes from playing NBA 2k12 not watching games.
Why should the national media cover the Spurs?
They cover what the majority of viewers are interested in seeing, and that's never been the Spurs.
There's a reason big market teams get big time reloads in the off season.
Expected a Giuseppe thread based on the le alone.
