The Clippers say hi...
"They are the biggest flopping team in the NBA," Vogel told reporters at Thursday's practice in Indianapolis. "It'll be very interesting (to see) how the referees officiate the series and how much flopping they reward."
Acehole, ^ ."Every drive to the basket, they have guys not making a play on the ball, but sliding in front of drivers," Vogel said. "Oftentimes they're falling down even before contact is even being made. It'll be interesting to see how the series is officiated."
Do you guys think this move by Vogel is with having the series be extra physical in mind?
making excuses before the series begins..
NBA fines Pacers coach $15,000 for comments
NEW YORK (AP) Indiana Pacers coach Frank Vogel will have to pay a $15,000 fine for comments he made Thursday about the Miami Heat.
NBA executive vice president Stu Jackson issued the decision Saturday.
Vogel called Miami the ''biggest flopping team in the NBA'' and told reporters that it would be ''interesting'' to see how much flopping the officials reward. Vogel also accused Heat players of sliding over and falling down before contact is made.
The best-of-seven Eastern Conference semifinals begin Sunday in Miami.
Vogel is scared. The hate towards Miami will keep rising as they get closer to that championship to begin a dynasty in the making.
A smart thing to say... putting the spotlight on the refs so hopefully Miami doesn't get as many bull calls as they did against NYK. The more physical Indiana can be, the better chance they have... not that it will matter.
And die off as they choke it away again.
Hopefully the flopping phenomenon will turn into the "Playing Dead Scare" where coaches and refs will create national hysteria in justice for potential floppers.
