So, I just read the SI article about Tim and at one point the writer mentions the Spurs admitting Tim Duncan has always been a center. I personally thought he has been a center for the past five years or so but a PF the rest of his career. Does this take away the title of Greatest Power Forward of All-Time?

I know this has probably been discussed before but I just want to know other Spurs fans' opinion on this.

He played his best ball as a power forward and that's all that matters.

Tim Duncan stopped being power foward after David Robinson. Being the best power foward isnt really saying that much because there isnt NEARLY the competition in comparison to the best centers of all time, which is where I think TD deserves to be in comparison with. Isnt TD a little tall to be a power foward?

No. TD is actually shorter than KG and Dirk, and the latter two sure as hell aren't centers.

The genius of these Spurs is in the simplicity: They just keep coming and coming and coming. They’re just so damn relentless.

You don't need the 5 best players to win...
You just need the 5 players who play best TOGETHER!
    That is Spurs Basketball!

Duncan is a legit 7 footer with shoes though. Pretty good length.

Magic Johnson obviously didn't play pg because he was too tall for the position and all.

I respect your opinion but as the others have said, there is no height limit for playing a position.
