Definitely, I think he earned it
I would "refinance" his contract a la Jefferson. Maybe 13m over the next two years. Would give us some cap space this summer to boot. Again a lot depends on TDs plans, but if td wants 2 more years hell prolly want Jax here for that time too.
Since he's on the books for 10 mil in '13, maybe refinance to 20 mil for 3 years. I think it would be fair all around as he'll be kept on ice during the 82 and then have time to shine in pressure time.

There should be a two-year contract extension in order. He played incredibly intense in the playoffs. We'll need him next year.
