Stanford players go for the nerd look after upsetting Oregon:
Tell me y'all saw this guy last night:
no ing kidding man. I got a buddy who's kid is a HECK of a baseball player and he's 12 standing at 5'9. played golf with the kid and he was killing it like 270 off the tee.
ing genetics are a .
OrangeBloods saying QB Jerrod Heard will not be graduating early.
We need to redshirt him in order to put two years of separation between him and Swoops.
In an ideal world, of course. But I think the ultimate fear is that Ash could be done with football, it's slim pickins at the JUCO level and Swoopes may not be ready by next fall.

This could be bye bye birdie!
[QUOTE=3rdCoastTexasBoy;6930558]The result could be A&M pursuing Briles, so a loss could lead to an upgrade. We'll see.
Game time for Oklahoma State will be 2:30 p.m.
Sisk...prepare for the tree of woe.
Some good high school ball in my area tonight...Gilmer vs. Kilgore and John Tyler vs. Whitehouse. I'm going to the JT/WH game. Anyone of note I should keep an eye on?
Dunning is out with a torn up knee but JT has 2016 DT named Braylon Jones who has been getting some attention. I believe he's #52.
From a USC fan on Reddit:
Fyi everybody, this is a Scott Wolf article. That means take it with a massive grain (boulder?) of salt. Guy makes up for views and is pretty universally hated by fans and the athletic department for being a giant . This guy is hilariously wrong around signing day. For what it's worth, ed o will get a strong look if he wins out or goes 3-1. Sumlin is on the list but to say he's the front runner at this point is pure wolf material.
that article
That guy sounds like someone from USC cucked him. I could barely read past the part where he said football players would rather go to UCLA.
interesting article but way off base. Is ATM football program better today than 2-3 years ago, without a doubt. Is ATM football the best program in Texas, must disagree since with a heisman quality qb ATM has wasted these years and not competed for a NC, or for that matter has not won there conference. Without a conference championship I have a hard time placing ATM over UT as a program as a whole. But without a doubt the gap is closing and closing fast and it will be interesting to see i ATM can continue with this progression after JM leaves for the NFL.
As a side note, that JT/Whitehouse game was one of the greatest high school football games I've ever seen. So many playmakers on both sides of the ball and neither team could stop the other. Whitehouse's QB has a future in D-1 ball. Dude has a cannon for an arm.
Check out these videos from 60 Minutes when you have some down time. No matter your feelings on Saban, it's an excellent look at how he operates and what makes Alabama dominate. My favorite part: "high achievers don't like mediocre people, mediocre people don't like high achievers."

This part is called "Built by Bama" which focuses on the strength and conditioning program and Alabama's facilities. If Texas somehow lands Saban, I hope he brings their S&C coach. He is one crazy Cajun mofo.

If Florida loses to Vanderbilt at home today. (Score is currently 17-0 Vandy) what's the chances he gets fired this season? I imagine Texas interest is diminishing for his services at Head coach.
I'm not one to tweet recruits, but Jamal Adams needs to see that picture.
Just did some random thinking that led to some thoughts that I feel pretty strong about. #1 If Texas had Winston at QB we would be undefeated. (I promise I won't mention that "what If" scenario again) #2 If Mack coaches the team to a big 12 championship, there's no way they force him out. Now what I am not for certain about Is how I feel about Mack coming back despite if we so happen to win the big 12 Championship.
I hope he's at the game but I doubt it. Anybody know what recruits are there? Not really a attractive game to go to so I wouldn't expect many big names.
