That picture, while nice, shows slight .
Class, gracefulness, respect.
I get goose bumps looking at this picture.
Go Spurs, 2014.
That picture, while nice, shows slight .
We gotta win this in thing this year. Please basketball Gods.
That picture just makes me sad. TD is basically my father-figure, when he retires I won't know what to do with myself.
Yeah, this image is very powerful. A lot of emotions. We must win it this year!!
Two first ballot hall of famers and two pretty remarkable human beings.
Pop: "I'm pulling you in the clutch in favor of fatass"
Tim: "Ok"
Anyone know when this was taken? Obviously during the 2013 Finals...but I'm talking more specifically.
All I can think of is 6.
Pretty much the only thing I think of when I see any image related to the 2013 Finals tbh.
The moment Pop took him out of game 6 for a crucial play.... kidding, i have no idea.
Great photo and great post. I totally agree. This photo is from right before player intros/anthem before Game 7. I've been using this photo on my fb and twitter wallpaper ever since.
1000 words? Try "One picture is worth two decades."
The 2013 Finals was truly a terrific series. One of the few times in NBA history where a finals series really could have gone either way, "6" is the perfect indicator of that.
But personally, I'm not really apart of the "Lets win one more for Tim " bandwagon. Mainly because well, Tim already has a load of rings. Anything more is pure luxury at this point. If we just so happen to hold the gold this June, I'd be absurdly happy/proud for/of the whole team.
I'm just glad the Spurs are still compe ive, I'm glad that SA's Front Office has managed to put together quite the team despite the Big 3's major drop that most fans are oblivious of. I'm glad they're actually a favorite to come out of the West, something Duncan's rivals (Bryant, Garnett, Nowitzki, Nash, Carter, etc.) can't say at this point of their careers. In fact, all those players I listed either barely made the playoffs or missed them entirely.
To even have this opportunity, the chance to be a heavy favorite in the post season - is a blessing itself. Tired of all this "championship or bust" talk. This may be the Big 3's last post-season, enjoy every minute of it over whining about how bad you want the le.
.. This post was much longer than expected. Hey, the le of this thread pretty much summed it up
As was the case in 2006 and 2013, Manu will personally see to it that these playoffs end in tears
It is a phenomenal picture.
classic and great pic, you'll probably see it again on a book or do entary.
I hope not. Manu could blow several finals in a row and his fans will still go on the warpath for him.
Well said, tbh. Thanks.
Big 3's drop??? TP had a damn near MVP level season last year, and Tim has had an incredible resurgence the past two years. The only one that's dropped in Manu and even he had spurts where he looked fantastic. He just can't sustain and derailed hard.
Please basketball Gods us Spurfans have had it so rough
gay
6. How's that for rough?
the 6 you maudlin bunch of crybabies.
This is 2014.
Wallow in self pity, we got back and it's time to start the real deal.
And it is a great photo, even for fans before 1998.
You really wanna cry, go back and look at how we lost to Washington, up 3-1.
I will order the 6 wimps a cactus pacifier to suck on.
