Nice Game by Anderson. Don't give a what anyone says.
Wtf Pop... why no timeout down 3 with 4 seconds to go??? We could have had it at half-court and gotten a decent shot for 3.
Shameful.
Nice Game by Anderson. Don't give a what anyone says.
We all need to say a prayer tonight for the speedy recovery of MVPatty....
Chill bruh.
Should have given it to Anderson (though Cory was the obvious choice for a full-court sprint). Pop needed to call a damned timeout it doesn't help anyone for him to half-ass the end of a game. , let Manu draw up a play like he did a few years ago.
Hope this is the last game we are going to see Daye on the court.
Kyle played his first overtime, I think he can be really good and his speed will translate to the NBA without problems.
Definitely had a good game stats wise. I didn't watch the game, so how did he do defensively?
Do you honestly care?
Not sure man. I'm sure that's the main part of his game that needs work. But out of all rookies who play big minutes and put up similar numbers. I'm impressed!! Love my dudes game forreal!
Anderson's kinda developing into Diaw 1.0
And I'm praying Daye and Ayres will be inactive as long as they are in silver & black uniform
Anyone got Anderson highlights from this game?
I only saw the second half on that ty feed but it looked to me that Anderson's defensive issues were more to overplaying things and not understanding position defense in different areas on the floor. He needs to develop his body and get stronger but he was far from overmatched physically against the Miami bench. He looks like he has the frame to grow into it.
He has the ability to break down defenses with the dribble. He is an offensive creator of an order better than Green, Mills, or Leonard already. He will help the offense flow on the second unit especially if Manu is not on the floor.
I watched the game on a crappy online stream, but I did see Anderson get his hands on a couple of balls and force some steals. The ESPN box score doesn't credit him for any, but his length and long arms definitely helped him defensively tonight. Otherwise he looked slow and was blown by 5 or 6 times, and I don't know what you can do about that. The Spurs do help a lot on D, and if Anderson's beaten we'll always have Duncan/Splitter at the rim, but if it's Chris Paul or any good passing guard then it becomes a real problem. But Anderson should absolutely not be guarding 1 and 2's so it shouldn't be a big issue. Definitely excited about what he brings to this team offensively though, as he looked as smooth as advertised tonight and didn't make a single bad decision all game.
Ginobili had 6TO's, the worst +/- , and has looked like so far
I don't have a problem with Andersons speed, but instead his quickness. He cannot accelerate well defensively at all. Maybe the trainers need to work on developing the twitch muscle fibers in his legs.
It's a shame Anderson is such a bean pole. If he were big enough to play the four full time, he'd be a great future fit in the SL. The M3 could protect him. Anderson has the ability to funnel his man, but the rest of his teammates need to be able to help him. When the bigs were there, Kyle did well enough. But he can't defend on an Island like Lock-n-Lock can.
Of course not. Preseason is preseason is preseason. Hence the blue font.
I don't see anything in Cojo tbh, failed in crunch time twice (end of the 4th and end of OT), doesn't run the offense well, still goes back to his hunchback stance, play hard on D but still gets scored on since he's not that big...
Thanks for posting the KA highlights. His offensive game is so smooth and he sets his teammates up so well. If he is able to improve his quickness so he can stay in front of his man he will be part of the regular rotation without question.
The Heat just won the preseason championship in San Antonio in OT, LOL. jk. It's just the preseason, your gonna have sloppy play by both teams. They didn't play Bosh, Wade, Deng and Spurs didn't play Parker, Spltter, Leonard. So it was all meaningless, but what I didn't like was all the damn turnovers by the Spurs, got to cut that down. If the shots don't fall fine, but the turnovers will kill you in a game everytime. It was really sloppy and ugly at times and way to many silly fouls. Though without LeBron, if the Spurs and Heat make it to the 2015 nba finals for a rematch, Spurs will beat them 4-1 again, maybe even sweep em. I don't think the Heat will even sniff the finals though.

Eh. Its alright. You'll live. When the regular season comes the Heat and the Cavs are screwed.
