You should wear a bunch of scarves, a top hat and a leather collar.
I'm thinking of a NoLimit tank paired with black pantaloons and black Doc Martins. Accentuated with some chains and bangles.
You should wear a bunch of scarves, a top hat and a leather collar.
Do you really think anyone gives a what you wear?
somebody has a big crush on spursforsix.
leather pants and a bandana
That coming from a guy who does NOTHING here but hump everyone elses leg, hahahahaha~~~~~~~
he creates a thread and you go all pavlov's dog.
It was....
Avante....hey EXPERT let's talk some track and field,ok?
SFS...don;t have the time.
Then he wants to talk what to wear? What happened to...."don't have the time"...well?
Yes. Or at least more than they care about the top 10 sprinters who played football in college.
I've already had two good suggestions from Ihustle and leemajors.
You're just mad because I'm going to a concert while you're stuck at home Googling about dead bluesmen.
Buttless chaps
Just wear your what a burger uni. Maybe axle will invite you on stage.
I think you'll see a great show. I think it would have been great in Arlington but the audio quality was terrible. Think it just has to do with the venue. It was obvious the band was in to the concert and Axl sounded like he hasn't lost anything when he hit the higher notes.
Cult opened up for them last night but the sound system made it even worse for them as Astbury's lower voice just got lost. I see you get Skrillex as the opening act.
Have fun!
I saw them Sunday night in the Superdome. It was fun nostalgia.
Damn I would much have rather had the cult. Im front row in the pit I hope the sound is good. I did that cause when I saw George Strait at the Dome the sound in the stands sucked
I just saw them on youtube...for free. They were great. Slash was his old self.
We had the Cult on Sunday. It was a satisfying opener. As far as the sound goes, it doesn't matter if you have the best sound equipment in the world, the quality just isn't as good in a football sized dome as it is in a basketball sized arena. For a GNR concert though, at this point in their career, most people were just singing along anyways. Attending is more of just a celebration of their career when a band is this far past their prime.
The Cult is bad ass live.
OP - you should wear a Zazz Blammymatazz shirt lololol
The thing is that I couldn't even tell how far past their prime they were and not sure I even agree. When you could hear him, Rose seemed to be spot on. I never got to see them play in the late 80's but Rose had a reputation for being terrible at times and not being able to duplicate what was on the album.
As for the rest, Slash and Duff are still in top form. Guitar players can play at technically high levels up into their 60's. What ever drummer they brought in is a monster.
In any event, the sound was so poor that on many songs, it took several bars to even discern a riff enough to figure out what song it was.
Regardless of attending for the nostalgia, it had the potential to be a great show.
So what did you wear?
Jeans and a t shirt.
