S Marcell Harris is visiting Florida this weekend for their Friday Night Lights recruiting event. He's not expected to commit but it's something worth watching.
"Vernon Hargreaves III committed to Florida yesterday, giving them four DB recruits in this class. Don't know if that will have any affect on Harris, projected to play safety, but it's worth noting."

Ricky Doyle
@RickyDoyle #UT spokesman confirms David Ash did strain hamstring. Says it is not severe and he is day-to-day.
Whether that is true or not, people need to stop panicking
That's encouraging even though it's tough to believe anything a source from the AD says. We were never given a true update on how bad any injuries were last year. No offense to the Case fans on here, but I'll cry if he trots out there against Wyoming instead of Ash.

DT Robert Nkemdiche saying he plans to visit USC in the fall.
Me too, I can't stand to watch him throw awkward passes of his back foot.
24/7 reporting 2014 S Edward Paris is thinking of visiting Texas on Tuesday.
S Marcell Harris did NOT commit to Florida last night. Good news that he'll have the opportunity to play with Oliver, Smythe and Warrick this weekend at the Champion Gridiron Kings.
In good news, HornsNation is reporting that Fera will visit Texas tomorrow.
Additionally, Rivals is reporting that Marcell Harris is locked into an official visit to Texas on September 1st for the Wyoming game.
UT makes a lot of sense for Fera. Hopefully he's a Longhorn soon.
Can't ask for much more than that considering this recruitment is lasting longer than most thought it would. Go Akina.
Harris has had ample opportunities to commit to Florida, and he hasn't pulled the trigger yet. He just walked out of the hot box of Florida Friday Night Lights without committing. I'm cautiously optimistic.
247 continues to say Ash's injury isn't severe. They also made a good point in that the first couple practices are without pads and therefore not really important. Ash has a little more than a week to rest and then the non-pads practices to miss if necessary. Of course if the injury is worse than imagined, it could bother him the whole season and we'll be seeing Case.
I saw that Pop. The 247 crew was inferring that Ash might not miss a full pads practice. I hope this is accurate.
FYI that an important factor in K Anthony Fera's decision could be the fact that he's on track to graduate from Penn State in December. Attending UT could prolong that process.
Weird recruitment but the timing makes sense. He admitted last week that he probably needed to make a decision soon with the bigger schools closing up shop. He was running out of committable offers.
