Fun movie. Elba >>> Smith
I thought the shark would be funny like the Quinn cartoon but he was still good
Was pretty predictable but kept it funny.
Lol what about Robbies new Quinn accent sounded like she laid that on really thick this time
As for the new one spoilers ahead
Waller sent that first squad to die, for what they did in SS1, nice touch.

I don’t get high all that often but when I do, I usually don’t have a problem understanding a movie. This movie, while interesting and funny, made no sense to me.
I thought the new one was boring tbh. It was too goofy. I'm not sure the over the top violence and language really worked here. I'm not against rated R comic book movies, many have been to great effect, but not this one imo. I couldn't care less about any of the characters. Especially after the intro, I was just waiting for everyone to die in a gory fashion.
Anyway, my 2 cents.
Much better than the first one. I wish they give them a interesting villain in the next one.
Shock value is about all this thing has. It's funny though. I'd have paid to see Pete Davidson get his face blown off.
Yeah, can the creature shtick. Watching the weasel drown was ok.
That's funny, I said the same thing about Elba. Dude brings life to all roles (well maybe not American Gangster, not for long anyhow).
Was def skating the fine line of cringe goofy and fun goofy. It did a good job of not taking itself seriously.
I didn't even realize they used the same actor for Flag lolol the first one is just so burnt away from my memory
Never really liked any of the James Gunn movies tbh, this one is no exception
so is this a reboot, a sequel, what? same name makes it confusing. or is this one "the suicide squad"
Guardians 1 was an absolute treat
Guardians 2 felt like more of the same, didn't bring much new (kinda like Deadpool 1 and 2)... though they tried to milk baby groot quite a bit
thought both were pretty enjoyable all things considered
sequel, but you dont have to watch the first one. And these les are ing . Just use the ing number you pretentious s.
It's obvious they were trying ignore the first movie as much as possible without outright saying it's a reboot.
When I saw the previews, it reeked of KickAss 2 and that was bloody ing rotten. Gonna pass on this.
I enjoyed the movie. Just confused about how HQ became one of the deadliest fighters w/o any powers or having lived a life dedicated to training from childhood.
Overlooking that minor thing, the movie is a solid 7/10.
Had some moments, but there's ultimately nothing to care about. Kind of a hyperviolent extended episode of Legends of Tomorrow. Meh/10.
Would totally watch a Weasel series on HBO Max tho. At least write him into a Doom Patrol episode.
Gunn for killing off Boomer early tbh
