Since no team has ever repeated in CL, it would not be a huge surprise if they don't repeat. They have a strong squad, but let's not forget this is the year of WC - many good players will be unhappy sitting on the bench, watching their chances of getting selected disappear. Stacked team will have troubles keeping their locker rooms from exploding...

Yeah, teams don't repeat in the CL. It will probably happen sometime, but there's just so many variables.
Hence why I always opposed people saying Chelsea's CL le was a fluke. You have to play well in the tournament from September to May - there's no flukes. the 'best' team doesn't always win.
