My thoughts :
They all show the Spanish version of this. The story has 2 sides, two versions. That's not what the Brazilian press says about the whole thing. The real truth we will never know because we will never get it from a neutral side.
When you read the whole thing, It's never a direct quote from Diego Costa saying all those things. It's always an inside info that someone got from his "entorno" or someone else. Typical press stuff.
In my opinion, they're just trying to justify his nationalization blaming Brazil's lack of interest on him. But they never mention that Diego Costa was a nobody when they called him back in 2013 back. When they say that Costa was a reference in Atletico back then when he wasn't , they show how one-sided they are. The numbers that I showed you prove that I don't lie.
If he felt like a "newbie" back in March or felt that he deserved to be a starter with 10 goals in 31 matches, he was delusional. I understand if he felt frustrated about not going to the Federation Cup, but it wasn't a big snub considering his production at the time. That's why I don't blame Scolari. And the result in the Federation Cup shows that Brazil did not miss him at all.
I blame Scolari for Miranda's snub, when he is 10x better than Henrique. I blame him for not calling Coutinho, when he is performing 10x better than Bernard, who isn't even a starter in Ukraine. But in the case of Costa, I really don't see how Costa's choice was his fault. We will have to disagree about it.

I predict Germany throws a draw game with the USA to get the USA on to the next round as a token gesture to the US coach.
Germany with wins against Ghana and Portugal, so a draw in the last game with the US won't matter as Germany will already have the group wrapped up by the time they face the US.
Germany 5 points (wins against Ghana and Portugal and draw with USA)
USA 3 points (win against Portugal, loss with Ghana and draw Germany)
Portugal 2 points (win against Ghana and losses with USA and Germany)
Ghana 2 points (win with USA, loss with Portugal and Germany)
USA caught a break playing Germany last. If they played them first it is an automatic loss to start the tournament.
I think you have Portugal and Ghana reversed... Ghana is the sucky, inferior team...
Both have two points. If I switch Portugal and Ghana results against the USA, the USA beats Ghana and loses to Portugal, Portugal would get 4 points and 2nd place.
How about
Germany- wins against Portugal and Ghana, draw USA- 5 points
USA draw with Portugal. win against Ghana and draw with Germany- 4 points
Portugal draw with USA, win Ghana , loss Germany- 3 points
Ghana - 3 losses- 0 points
I think USA will surprise one of those teams
Wins give you 3 pts not 2.
Even more reason for Germany to be able to throw the last game if they already have 6 points going into the USA game.
