Strong mentioned this concept when talking about recruiting in his introductory press conference. It's easy to say you don't care about stars when you aren't recruiting well (i.e. Texas), but the guy is going to work his ass off to develop what he has.

Both DC Vance Bedford and LB coach Brian Jean-Mary has been added to Texas' online directory.
Not seeing anyone in the Louisville or Vanderbilt classes who matches that description, unless you count RB/FB Daniel Gresham.
Higdon reports out of Florida so I'm assuming the prospect is in that area of the country.

I think they had some minor contract hang-ups to take care of before becoming official.
It's RB Varshaun Nixon of Lake Travis. Says he wants to look around.
He is an Aggie commit at the moment.
currently committed to a&m and is the only RB of the current class. maybe he feels that 1) sumlin is pass first and 2) he'll have to redshirt and wait behind other RBs for at least 2 years before he gets a chance. i would say he is certainly capable of committing somewhere else.
