i havent followed this story as close as others... my understanding the whole time was that he never explicitly mentioned israel, but gave enough info that it would be easy to piece together that the source of that info must be israel.
if that is the what the story was (and i could be wrong), then trump isn't contradicting the story at all, and saying "that's something you got wrong" is inaccurate
