As great as the Admiral was, he never won anything before Duncan came to town.
Granted, Dirk has had better support than David ever had, but one superstar can't do it alone.
Don't understand the Dirk hate, he's one of the best ever. He was a warrior in this series, that's for sure.
Brilliant offensive player. Possibly the best offensive player in the league. Not too much of a defensive stalwart though. He lost, but will go with head high. Massively good performances throughout the series.
Also a word for Roddy Buckets. Awesome young talent. Carlisle made a big mistake sticking him to the bench.

Dirk is a great player and person...I will cheer any team he decides to play on....much respect to him. He should strongly consider signing with another team...maybe take a 1 year MLE to play with Lebron

The way Cuban looked at the guy at the end of the game, like to say im sorry was just priceless. Guy has got major game, props to him.

dirk has a temper but when he's not in the game he's quite levelheaded. he's also a great compe or so i'm pretty sure most people respect him. he'd fit nicely on the spurs

Roddy is like this year's Hill. Mavs will be a different team (again) next year.
I have mad respect for him on his offensive game. He could of been one of the greatest players if only he knew how to play Defense. Thats his one flaw.
I hope he wins a championship but not with the Mavs.

He's never had enough help, and I'm not sure he's capable of carrying a team in the clutch, but when he's shooting well he's ABSOLUTELY UNSTOPPABLE. No doubt about it, his shot is legit.
All things being equal: right now, he is great; as a Spur, he would be a champion.
I've always respected Dirks game. He gets a lot of when people compare him to Duncan, but just because he's not the Best PF of all time doesn't mean he's a bad player. He's got limitations, but he's not as bad a defender as people think he is. I just think the fact he's been compared to Duncan and Garnett has put a light on those weaknesses, and people have focused on them.
