Duncan had a similar moment a few seasons back against Portland. Ended up being only a sprain. Spurs can only hope for more of same luck.

Leg whip. It's the variety you see on the field of NFL games on Sunday. Unlike Rondo, Tim wears a protective brace which limits how far his knee would twist or bend. Seeing as to how he was able to walk on his own is a good sign. However, we all remember Rondo kept on playing until he found out the next day he had a torn ACL, with Tim, his has been surgically repaired, we can all hope that what hurt the most on the leg whip was scar tissue being stretched out because of whip. Best case, he's uninjured. Likely, Pop goes overprotective and he does not play in the AS game and he rests to get healed. Some Ligament injuries do not require surgery at all, just time off. It's completely speculative but I can see him taking the next 3 weeks off easy. Worst case is he's out for the season. Let's hope it's not that. This team needs him to make a deep run obviously.
Someone call the Carmelite Nuns and have them do the full rosary prayer circle.

Probably the worst thing that could happen to the team if it turns out bad.

Looked and felt career ending. One of those moments that u will remember where u were and what u were doing. Kinda like when 911 or d challenger happened

Hope im wrong. Whoever mentioned d brace, good point. Maybe just maybe it protected from catastrophic damage

It looked really ugly, but we've observed that you can't tell much from Timmy's visible reaction to pain. The way he reacted to some of those ankle injuries back in the day, you'd have sworn he'd broken something. Then he's come back after halftime and play great. Hopefully it looked worse than it is, but this kinda waiting game is no fun.

I'm worried more about Timmy's career. He's already at the tail end of it. I don't want it to end! Not like this... not like this..

I am praying that he is ready for the playoffs. Even if he gets healthy before the end of the season I would still hope we sit him until the playoffs. if we lose Tim to a regular season game against the Wizards where we go up 25 in the 2nd quarter...OK not going to think about it. Come on TIM! Please be something minor

Anyway I've seen Duncan go down like too many times only to find out he was being over dramatic. Ill wait for the diagnosis before jumping off the cliff.

Hopefully Sean Elliott will have some sort of update tonight. Then there will probably be an MRI tomorrow. Nothing will be known until after that.

Wouldn't go that far but the playoffs seem awfully close now.......

Not sure he can be 100% by then but I hope for the best.

He was limping throughout the Memphis series that year and pundits universally agree it was the Warriors injury that cost us Duncan's stellar play.

And the worst part is, that would be the best case scenario for us at this point.

Spurs lead Wiz 51-26 at halftime. Nobody cares.

i switched over just in time to see them helping him off and my heart stopped. and twice now i've had that choked feeling you get right before you cry. and i was super pissed at martell webster and screaming at him for rolling when he fell. this sucks. please be okay, timmy.
