HA! the Nets tanked on purpose at the end of the season. Raptors not as good as the Bulls, and the Nets match up better with the Heat than the Pacers. The Heat's road to the finals just got harder if they have to play the Nets in the 2nd round.

Neat vid.. But the husky on the basketball court was a little too much, IMO. We get it, the Raptors are in Canada.

Outside of the Spurs, Toronto has been by far my favorite team to watch consistently all year. They are a well balanced team, compete hard and while they have flaws, they play a nice brand of basketball. I do think (while not at all likely) they are a dark horse team to make an ECF run.
They would have to obviously stay healthy and composed in this playoff environment, but they are one of a handful of teams that when things fall into place, they can do enough damage to make a run. I think there are a lot of teams that even if things go pretty damn perfect and they get a lot of guys playing above their heads, they still don't have the talent and aren't built to make a conference finals. I think TOR beats BKY & then if MIA isn't able to flip that switch (which I think they will), TOR will be tough on them.

The Nets are like that night after you slept with someone you might have regretted. You know it was probably decent-to-good sex but you could never be caught dead with the chica in public. She might be aged and past her prime and have had more s in her than the Hilton during a Richard Nixon impersonator conference, but you do what you have to do sometimes to build convention or to get over a break-up. Toronto is like that chick you thought was a lesbian but turns out she's not. It is a nice story and you are curious as to whether she is worth the hustle to pay attention to. She might like bands like Arcade Fire and Rush, so you know you got to keep her on her to shave her legs. I got the Nets and in 6. About the amount of vodka drinks I can handle before I think I can speak wit ha faux Russian accent.
