The modern day Admiral is Garnett. Chris Paul (whose choking narrative is overblown b/c he gets injured in the playoffs or goes up against superior opponents) is more like Isiah Thomas who also couldn't get past the 2nd rd until Dumars/Rodman arrived.

He's why most of us non-Texas residents are Spurs fans, and he's without a doubt my 2nd favorite Spur. I've also criticized him over the years for his playoff "choking," but rethinking it, I wish I could watch his pre-Timmy playoff runs and see how he was defended and how the supporting cast played. I don't remember, but I know a lot of Spurs fans have claimed that Robinson was seeing triple teams in his matchup with Dream while Dream was only single covered.
