Dammit, I was looking forward to Aldo-McGregor. I like Mendes but I definitely won't be dropping any money on this card.
I was looking forward to McGregor wooping ass. He had Aldo shook in training camp now he's going up against Super Mini Me.
Meanwhile...
ready for Mendes to put this got in his place. A shame Aldo got hurt though, figured we were about to see a motivated aggressive Aldo, and thats a scary scary thing.
First of all, I absolutly love this card - Mendes, McGregor, and MacDonald are three of my favorite fighters in the UFC
Chad Mendes v. Conor McGregor - I love both fighters, and honestly have no clue how this fight will go, but I gotta pick someone...
Robbie Lawler v. Rory MacDonald - this is all Rory. He's going to get revenge for their last fight and become the new GSP.
Dennis Bermudez v. Jeremy Stephens - close fight, but I think that Bermudez's wrestling takes this
Gunner Nelson vs. Brandon Thatch - Thatch is too big and too strong for Nelson. Also, dude is violent as .
Brad Pickett v. Thomas Almeida - too easy
Matt Brown v. Tim Means - toss-up fight, but it's hard to pick against the Immortal

I feel like people are sleeping on Mendes. He has been super good as of late and we must remember that Mcgregor has never really fought a top 10 talent. Big team alpha male fan though so I may be a little bias, those guys all seem like super cool dudes.
Should be a good card. Having Mendes as a backup for Aldo saved it.
I'm buying this card and having a lot of friends over - even without Aldo, the card is stacked.
Great ing fight. Lawler just broke him mentally after he came back from being badly hurt. That was some Terminator .
Rory had him hurt badly. I honestly thought it was over. Lawler comes back and breaks his nose I the 5th and Rory just grabs his face and drops to the mat. One of the greatest displays of fighting heart I've ever seen. It was like some out of a Rocky movie.
His nose honestly looked like it was gonna fall of his face
Rooting for a hype train to be derailed now, go mendes
What a fight, chad should've stayed on top and not go for the guillotine, but that's hindsight
And there it is. Dammit...all Mendes had to do was keep his position and ride out the round. He let Connor back up with a little bit too much time left on the clock.
Connor talks way too much , but he's one tough bas . He earned it tonight.
