Dude, what is with your smartass mouth, you really are a jerk aren't ya?
So there is a home system with a screen what 30 foot by 30 foot....hahahahaha~~~~~~~~
Recluse? See ya in about a week little man, taking my recluse self to the coast.
I've cut the cable, so there is no "on" anymore, except when I want VOD, but back in the old days of cable/network TV:
Kelly's Heroes
Casino
Rockford Files

acting like the size of the screen matters. You can get just as good of an experience out of a 150 inch screen as you can one in a movie theater. Picture quality and sound quality are what matter and there are plenty of home theaters that can outdo the movies on that end.
National Lampoon's Vacation
Planes, Trains, and Automobiles
Schindler's List
Dances with Wolves
Unforgiven
The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly
3:10 to Yuma (the remake)
Shawshank Redemption
Braveheart
Saving Private Ryan
All I can think of at the moment.
Grindhouse is a movie that could never be duplicated in the home. Watching that in the theater on a Friday night with the whole crowd going nuts the whole time is what made that so great. You can't get fired up by the Machete trailer with Danny Trejo and Cheech Marin when it's an extra on the DVD the way you do seeing it at the theater in between the two features.
Strangely enough the only two movies that I almost have to watch if I see any piece of them are both from the same year: Pulp Fiction and Shawshank Redemption.
I don't like euro accents and a story centered around people overseas, just can't relate. I need a movie with character(s) I can relate to.
I did like Bollywood's "Kites" though, except for the ending... Did he die or live? I think he lives, but is walking around extremely upset about his runaway bride being killed and still injured from being shot. Poor "Jai".

I agree with the camaraderie angle. I was speaking strictly from an A/V perspective.
My Cousin Vinny.. The scene where Vinny first meets dude and he thinks he's about to be raped is still funny as
It never comes on TV but we still watch Blood In Blood Out regularly
I didn't come here just to get jerked off.
No, I'm not gonna jerk you off.
Pretty gay I know, but The Devil Wears Prada.
Naw.........that IS gay!!
Word. I hear you man. Madsen made that movie for me. He's a ty actor but that role was perfect for him. And Roth and Keitel were brilliant as always.
The Princess Bride
Predator
Romero Zombie movies especially Dawn of the Dead (remake)
That one was pretty stupid. So many better ones in that genre that I've seen.

It's crazy but I've never seen TBL. I do actually have it in the DVR right now.
