UT released a statement confirming Ehlinger is being evaluated for a head injury.
C Zach Shackelford also has a possible head injury.
Tfloss mentioned earlier, now confirmed.

Nice to see the commits holding strong through some tough times, especially on the offensive side of the ball.
Glad to see the new staff finally crack the code on how to properly use Hager and Roach both had very impactful plays.
If this staff is putting Ehlinger's health at risk by running him like they have then they need to step back and take a hard look at their priorities. Sam is one year out of being in high school and if they keep running him like this they are going to turn him into David Ash 2.0.
There is no answer for our offensive line and to try to turn our bad ass QB into a battering ram is dumb dumb dumb.
Is it possible that both Holton Hill and DeShon Elliott move on to the NFL after this season? Anyone see that happening?

I do.
Hill was outstanding on Saturday.

24/7 reporting the official visit for WR Rondale Moore went as well as it could have and the UT coaches feel a lot better about their chances of keeping him committed.
Yes he was made numerous tackles it looked like he had no chance at. Other than having the INT game, this had to be his best as a Longhorn.
Possibly something to watch.
Per 24/7, Coach Mehringer joined Coach Beck in the booth during Saturday's game.

i was thinking that a couple of weeks ago. why is herman so wreckless with his QBs? are the RBs that bad? i mean, i love ehlinger's grit and all, but at the rate he plays-even going back to his westlake days, the kid may end his career before it ever really takes off. they need to spell him some relief and keep him in the pocket more often.
The Football Brainiacs (TFB) is saying a source close to LB Nik Bonitto of Fort Lauderdale, FL told them UT could get a commitment if they pushed, and Bonitto supposedly made that clear to the staff.
However, UT will be waiting on a decision from DE Joseph Ossai of Conroe Oak Ridge.
