Per Inside Texas, DT Daylon Mack has eliminated Texas and will not visit.

Down to A&M, Auburn and TCU.

Auburn is going to be a real pain in the ass moving forward.

Auburn's recruiting is suspect. Higdon mentioned yesterday that some sketchy things are going on with Irvin and Auburn.

Jason Higdon mentioned that five committed players are in risk to qualify: Gilbert Johnson, Devonaire Clarington, Ronnie Major, Anthony Wheeler, and Lampkin.

Would be hilarious and also sad if UT finally lands a blue-chip TE and he can't qualify.

Regardless of what's going on behind the scenes, I feel like he'll stay at Auburn if he visits.

Need to get Irvin in Austin before the dead period ends.

I wonder what the staff does with DT recruiting. It looked like Mack or bust. I wonder if they'll target anyone now, of just get the best possible players with the last spots. I only know of a couple of DT's that the staff has had contact with

Interesting piece of information on WR John Burt from Scout...some of you may have noticed he scheduled his official visit to Texas the day after he de-committed (which is odd). Well, turns out he called the coaches that next day to say he made a mistake and he'd like to visit on January 30th. They think he will end up a part of this class when all is said and done even though numbers are tight.
