good home cookin, Spurs lose FT pts 16 - 23
What was the most pathetic thing of the night?
Pop and the ing small balll
Manu Ginobili
George Hill
good home cookin, Spurs lose FT pts 16 - 23
the difference was hustle. Spurs came out expecting a depleted team to roll over, and the Blazers didnt do that. Neither did the Jazz when they were depleted last year against the Spurs. I said it earlier: DEPLETED TEAMS ARE DANGEROUS. Yet the Spurs keep thinking they get to take the night off and then expect to be able to make it up in the final 2 min of the game.
The Spurs beat themselves tonight. Move on, learn from it.
This is the first time I'm going to say this, but Manu needs a good ing punch in the face.
Maybe that will wake him up. He's played like total .
The game was lost a lot earlier... Time for Pop to actually start coaching... Open up the doghouse, do something...
Go find another one then.
Inexcusable loss, but these things happen. If it all played out like it looks "on paper" then there'd be no point playing the games.
I'm hoping this is the low point.
Great game, as short handed as your team is now they are playing hard and with heart out there. they deserved this win,
Both suck asses big time.
No D TP. No O Manu.
I'm not on the whole fire Pop bandwagon, but he truly ed up when he subbed when the Spurs got with a point.
Didn't Pop say if we don't win I should be fired?
The good news is that this must be rock bottom, how can you go lower than losing with a decimated team where the most important players are not playing, they could barely put enough players to begin with, nah, you can't sink further, so from now on it will be better.
epic ST meltdown about to happen
they didn't actually. but they got beat on the offensive boards. Blazers only outrebounded them 36-33, but were 11-6 on offensive boards. That's all about hustle, pure and simple.
What an inexcusable loss. No Roy, no Pryzbilla, no Oden, back to back and owned badly by Jerryd ing Bayless.
Pathetic.
I hope all of the idiots saying "it's only December" realize how pathetic their argument are.
I thought Bogans was our defensive stopper... He barely played today... Theo didn't play at all when they were scoring inside like there was no tomorrow...
We need to stick to playing D with players that play D
How good does that win feel? It should feel fantastic. Good game.
Boy I tell you as a fan of the Spurs it was the most disgusting, gutless, pansy ass effort I have ever seen.
The Spurs '96-'97 team played tougher and with more heart than these ing players on the court tonight.
I guess some realy don't care if we Spurs are after a championship this year.
good thing ginobili's contract is expiring. might be able to deal by the deadline.

Same story every game.
We have a team of vets that act like theyve never played basketball.
we cut the lead down to 1 early in the 4th against phx
pop sub...

another team effort. These guys just didn't come to play, and that's hard to understand. go down the line, timmy played well in the first half but the blazers adjusted and took him out of the game and in the meantime the Spurs couldn't make a stop to save their lives. Our defense is horrible and from the get go the Blazers were kililng the spurs on the glass. they just totally outclassed our guys. It's just one game but it shows where these guys heads are at and it's not in winning games.
Blazers are missing Brandon Roy, Greg Oden, Rudy Fernandez, Travis Outlaw, and Joel Pryzbilla.
You see him defend Bayless? Bogans can't keep up with his explosive first step.
