Dropping Gronkowski for Fiammetta is a lateral move. Doesn't make any sense at all, tbh. I also heard Baltimore picked up Gurode. I'm hoping dropping him wasn't a stupid move, and that Dockery picks up his game a bit.

How ugly is the OL going to be now that Smith is out, too? Sure going to be fun watching those Ryan overloads and delayed blitzes on SNF.

Sanchez factor is still there, but who is going to cover Holmes? Ball?

Is Smith officially out? I hadn't heard that.

Tyron Smith, whom the Cowboys selected ninth overall in the NFL draft, and who earned the starting right tackle job in training camp, suffered a hyperextended knee and is expected to miss 2-4 weeks, Calvin Watkins and Todd Archer of ESPNDallas.com report.

Yeah, it was gonna be bad enough even with him in there. Should be entertaining no matter what.

Can't wait until tonight!!! It'll be an emotional night at the meadowlands, but I'm sure it won't affect either team. The Jets ing suck on openers and tonight might not be so different. Either way, it's going to be a good one

I wonder if they'll gay it up a bit and show baby pics of the Ryan brothers like they did the Mannings a few years ago.

it will probably be close but I have a feeling it will be like last year's opener vs Washington.

Jets make a defensive stand at the end to hang on

    Jets 17

    Cowboys 10

I'm not a big predictor of scores, however I'm pretty confident that following this game, the flight from the Big Apple to Big D will be so devoid of noise that one could just about listen to the sounds of a schedule consisting of 16 games falling i said

I got over this loss about 5 minutes after it ended. After the Mavs won it all, I decided I couldn't about anything sports related for at least a few years.

I got over it right away, tbh. It sucked, but it's only Week 1. One game...we weren't expected to win this one anyway. It is what it is. Dez showed what he could be, and for a team using our 4th and 5th DBs in the 1st and 2nd spot for most of the night, we didn't do half bad.

If Scandrick was available, I'd be fine with it...not really pumped about starting McCann or Ball at DB.

    This

Tbh I'm not that worried about the DB's too much after Rob's defense did a good job of getting after Sanchez last week. Do the same to Smith and he'll throw a couple of picks.
