Doesn't matter if it's Summer League, Drew League, Little League... if you can't get by Kendall Marshall or guard anyone at all as the #2 pick in the draft, that's a problem. Right now, the only concern about his game that might be overblown is his shooting. His mechanics are hideous, but chances are he won't be shooting 2-15 every game. The concerns that already existed about his lack of speed, explosiveness and defense were on full display last night.

I have to give you credit though. I know you wanted the Lakers to draft Tatum. His game definitely looks like it will translate well in the NBA.

Ball may end up the better player ...but Tatum looked more able to privide immediate help and i wanted to give Russell at least a half season more..but whatever. Tatum struggling a bit today and last year Russell killed it in SL but was still wildly inconsistent in the regular season so this means nada. only thing I take from SL if you are a 2nd year high pick or a 3 or 4 year college player (Brice Johnson of the Clippers was the latter) you should dominate in SL. look at Jaylen Brown for an example.
but yeah I liked Tatum even over JacksonFultz and i generally hate Duke players outside of him ingram Kyrie and Grant hill
