According to Foxnews, 2 handguns have been recovered
so sad....FOX is saying 32 dead now
I am watching the footage with my landlady. Makes me want to cry. How terrible to be at college preparing for a bright future and to be brutally murdered.
Terrible isn't an accurate word. I don't know what is.
CNN is saying 31 dead.
One student being interviewed by phone on CNN just told reporters that a friend of his from Iraq called to check to see if he ( the student) was safe.
Awful irony, as the reporter pointed out.
Come now, je just cost the state a LOT of money, On so many levals. Killing himself is a drop out of the ocean at this point.
I go to college as an engineering student. Yeah, this kind of freaks me out. A sad day when you feel safer in the former 13th precinct over a campus in Virginia...
I know I shouldn't try to understand shooters who do things like this since they are obviously crazy.
But what on earth... he kills 30 something people and then immediately kills himself.
Why not just kill himself? I mean did he think that the previous 30 murders would give him more peace about ending his own life?

Was it confirmed that he killed himself or that he was killed?
Oh boy...they brought up Doom. Damnit. They brought up Counter-Strike and Half-Life as well.

hmm, maybe they should check in his cd player to see what he was listening to. That'll justify why he killed 30+ people and wounded many others.

I am just sick of every school shooting being blamed on video games that involve guns.
I know. Supposedly the shooter was in his 20's. It's just hard to believe that someone like that could be influenced by a movie, videogame, or music. It seems like it would have to run a little deeper than childish things.
I agree with you. I am sure it will come out that something happened to him where he felt like getting revenge on everyone.
They had to have more than two damn handguns...especially to kill all the people they did. I am thinking automatic weapons unless they were lining people up shooting them execution style.

He had to have an automatic weapon because there is no way you kill that many people with two handguns. Either that or we live in a society that are bigger pussies than I thought. Obviously there is more to it because someone would have thought of rushing him, throwing a book, bringing him down and holding him...
This is horrible...blaming rock music, video games etc....sad really...I blame guns...call me crazy.
