I wouldn't mind Felix at the #2 but he's more experienced at this point so he should remain the starter. Murray is nipping on Felix's heels, though.
I don't see why Felix shouldn't be #2 now tbh.

Before DAL starts designating spots to Murray, they should prolly see how he runs against a non- team.
true, but feed the dude the ball, it can't hurt. jones wasn't exactly lighting it up.
murray and jones 1/2 no doubt
choice should be worrying about taNNER
nananana hey hey hey goodbye
Cowboys waived RB Tashard Choice.
A surprising decision on the surface, but Choice's recent health woes were making it increasingly difficult to overlook his lack of production. His dismal Week 7 performance as fourth-stringer Phillip Tanner went for 34 yards on only six carries was likely the final straw. Over his past 22 games, Choice has averaged just 3.4 yards on 94 carries while contributing nothing in the passing game. Depending on how DeMarco Murray performs against the Eagles, Dallas could be looking at a backfield that uses Murray as the feature runner, Felix Jones as the third-down back and Tanner as a short-yardage specialist once Jones is over his shoulder issues.

I made a post on FB last week about Jerry needs to get rid of Choice. He never took advantage of his many opportunities. I'm interested in seeing what Carter is going to bring to the table, though.
no doubt carter is very promising- former safety turned lb, sub 4.4 speed before the injury hope he gets 100% and can contribute on defense this season
We ruined that guy. Choice could have been great, but we sat his ass on the bench, and just like we do a LOT of rookies, couldn't coach him for . He's crap now, so it's good that he's gone...but it's our own fault.
you might be right he had some solid outings then when right back to his backup role once mb3 and felix were ready. Not sure hes that great a back but he wasnt really given a chance either to be "the"guy
they should have at least traded him before the deadline, teams were interested. Why not just cut Buehler when you only have 2 active RBs this week?
Yea, Jerry dropped the ball by not trading Choice and Bennett when he had good offers. Oh well. I put a lot of the blame on Choice not getting it done on him and Skip Peete. Why is Skip Peete still the RB coach?
Exactly my point. This was a guy who had a good chance to be REALLY good...but we didn't coach him up, and never gave him the chance.
well here we go cowboys v the eagles not sure what to expect in this one
damn eagles march right down the field 7-0
nice quick throws early to offset that dallas rush
