How many times are we going to have to see this ing movie lol. I'm not sure what is in the head of these Old School coaches that leads them to not foul at a moment like that, but I guess they will just have to keep losing
    it's not who we are

Haliburton with some backbreaking unforced TOs in the clutch. Maybe it's a good thing we picked Vassell instead.

You’re right. Vassell would have threw up bad shot after bad shot instead.

At least a bad shot as a chance to go in... never seen a bucket made by dribbling it off your knee or losing the handle out of bounds!

They still didn't foul. Going for the steal with 13 seconds left

Carlisle should be embarrassed with his coaching at the end

Pacers bout to find out what happens in the playoffs when you give one game away…

they will look back after game 6 or 7 elimination on giving away game 1….

It's just mind boggling. I do not understand this stubborn idea of not fouling when you are up by 3. Why in the are you so against it?

I mean, they just won a series after being gotten 0-2, but yes, this was stupid.

The bad play in this postseason is getting on my nerves.

It's not about "killer instinct" with the Celtics, as I've said ad nauseam it's about the lack of an MVP caliber player/lead play maker. Tatum is a better overall player than Mitc , Haliburton, etc. but so often the other team has the best shot creator in the series.

As for not fouling up 3 late, some of it is it's not as easy as it seems sometimes considering how fast things go (namely the player being able to go into shooting motion), but some of it is just old school macho crap like the aversion to switching.

Yeah but let’s not compare a guy who actually helped his team make the playoffs vs. a guy who we arguably played better without his presence and is an evident ball stopper.

Vassell did get the Spurs Victor which is something Haliburton would not have been able to do since the Spurs would have won more games with him lol.

I want to see BOSTON win it all. For one reason...

    Al Horford.

No man in the NBA right now deserves it more. Doesn't mean , I know...but, I'd love to see him win a Championship before he's done. Guy has always been a workhorse, and he still is. At 37 he's hustling more and playing smarter than most of the kids around him.

He's kind of like Kevin Willis in '03 except a little bit younger. He's always been a solid player for his whole entire career. It feels like he's been a 10-8 guy forever.

The reason I would love to see the Celtics win is for them to get 18 which would drive Laker fans and their media crazy. I would love to see how that pandemonium plays out from a comedic angle.

Awwwww znaw!!! Boston has 17 rings. Thats MORE than enough. I can live with anyone else winning the Chip, but not Boston.
